Lateral view of a zebrafish (Danio rerio) larva at 144 hours post fertilization (≈6 dpf). The body is pale gray with dark blue–black melanophores along the dorsal midline and a lateral stripe. Visible structures include a large pigmented eye, segmented trunk myotomes flanking the notochord, an inflated swim bladder, a developing pectoral fin, and an elongated tapering tail; the yolk is largely resorbed at this stage.
