A translucent, spherical bubble with a pale blue gradient represents a thin aqueous film stabilized by surfactants (surface-active agents, SAAs). At the hierarchical level, surfactant molecules align at the air–water interface to form monolayers that encapsulate a macroscopic gas pocket. In physical chemistry and biophysics, this colloidal structure demonstrates surface tension and thin-film optics, often showing iridescence. Functionally, the film enables foam formation and detergency in hygiene by lowering interfacial tension. The object is shown suspended in air.
