H&E-stained light micrograph-style depiction of human parathyroid gland parenchyma. The field shows cords of chief (principal) cells with round, basophilic nuclei and scant cytoplasm, intermingled with scattered larger oxyphil cells with granular eosinophilic cytoplasm. Clear adipocytes are present within the stroma alongside delicate fibrous septa and a rich capillary network. Overall coloration is predominantly pink cytoplasm and stroma with purple nuclear chromatin, consistent with normal adult parathyroid architecture involved in PTH-mediated calcium homeostasis.
