This schematic depicts an inflamed tumor microenvironment packed with diverse immune infiltrates. Numerous round lymphocyte-like cells are dispersed among polygonal tumor cells with magenta nuclei. Stellate antigen-presenting cells are interspersed, while elongated spindle-shaped stromal cells encircle the lesion. Additional blue and pale leukocyte types appear within the parenchyma, suggesting active immune surveillance. The overall pattern represents a highly cellular, immunoreactive neoplastic tissue with dense leukocyte infiltration.
