Day-15 chicken embryo curled inside the egg, occupying most of the cavity. The embryo shows a large pigmented eye, defined beak, developing down feathers and plumage, and flexed wings and legs with segmented digits and keratinized claws. It is apposed to a prominent yellow yolk sac with visible red chorioallantoic vessels, surrounded by amniotic membranes within the brown shell. Suitable for referencing late avian embryogenesis around Hamburger–Hamilton stages 41–42 (E15).
