A front-facing depiction of the national flag of Iran shows three equal horizontal bands of green, white, and red. Centered on the white stripe is the red emblem composed of four crescents and a sword forming a stylized tulip. Along the inner edges of the green and red bands runs a repeated Kufic script motif of “Allahu Akbar” rendered in white.
