Vissa av de aktuella sjukdomarna skr\u00e4mmer oss dock fortfarande. Trots att den medicinska tekniken har f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrats \u00e4r botemedlet f\u00f6r m\u00e5nga sjukdomar fortfarande ett mysterium. Detta \u00e4r fallet med HIV.<\/p>\n<p>Forskare fr\u00e5n hela v\u00e4rlden har f\u00f6rs\u00f6kt avkoda HIV-viruset f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rst\u00e5 hur vi kan bek\u00e4mpa det. I takt med att deras forskning fortskrider har de uppt\u00e4ckt m\u00e4rkliga saker om HIV-viruset.<\/p>\n<p>Efter att ha samlat in prover fr\u00e5n 800 personer som smittats av HIV-virus i Afrika byggde Faria virusets sl\u00e4kttr\u00e4d. Historien visar att denna lovande stad f\u00f6r\u00e4ndrades med j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gsbyggen och sexarbetare - tv\u00e5 transports\u00e4tt som HIV-viruset anv\u00e4nde f\u00f6r att sprida sig.<\/p>\n<p>Ursprungligen fanns det tv\u00e5 typer av HIV-virus: HIV-1 grupp M och HIV-1 grupp O. HIV-1 grupp M var den som spreds fr\u00e5n Kinshasa till resten av v\u00e4rlden. HIV-1 grupp O, \u00e5 andra sidan, uppstod i n\u00e4rheten men spreds aldrig, utan stannade kvar i V\u00e4stafrika fram till idag.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5937 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/output_vx7nah.gif\" alt=\"HIV-virus\" width=\"945\" height=\"708\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Faria tror att utvecklingen av b\u00e5da grupperna kan hj\u00e4lpa oss att f\u00f6rst\u00e5 hur denna sjukdom utvecklas. Han fokuserar p\u00e5 skillnaderna mellan grupperna och hur de kan avg\u00f6ra virusets n\u00e4sta steg.<\/p>\n<p>Att uppt\u00e4cka HIV:s f\u00f6rflutna kan vara svaret p\u00e5 hur man kan f\u00f6r\u00e4ndra virusets framtid.
