Under 2012 minskade marknadsf\u00f6ringen direkt till konsumenterna till $3,47 miljarder, men $24 miljarder spenderades p\u00e5 att marknadsf\u00f6ra l\u00e4kemedlen till l\u00e4kare p\u00e5 m\u00e5nga olika s\u00e4tt, som gratis luncher eller utbildningar p\u00e5 fina restauranger eller resorter.
