Dessa proteiner \u00e4r bundna av isotopelement som leder till en isotopsignatur som kan utv\u00e4rderas genom analys av stabila isotoper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den unga laxfisken studerades i tre olika isotopiska livsmilj\u00f6er med olika f\u00f6dov\u00e4var f\u00f6r att kvantifiera arkivv\u00e4vnaden i fiskens \u00f6gonglob.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De stabila isotopelement som anv\u00e4ndes var svavel 35, kol 13 och kv\u00e4ve 15 (<sup>34<\/sup>S, <sup>13<\/sup>C,<sup>15<\/sup>N).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Svavelisotopen \u00e4r anv\u00e4ndbar f\u00f6r att ta reda p\u00e5 kostk\u00e4llor. Fisk fr\u00e5n kustvandring \u00e4r rik p\u00e5 kol-13-isotoper och anv\u00e4nds d\u00e4rf\u00f6r f\u00f6r att best\u00e4mma vandringsr\u00f6relsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kv\u00e4veisotopen anv\u00e4nds i styrningen av de trofiska niv\u00e5erna hos migrerande djur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">Analysen av stabila isotoper \u00e4r formulerad p\u00e5 grundval av konceptet \"du \u00e4r vad du \u00e4ter\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e5 grundval av detta letade forskarna efter isotopelement som svavel, kol och kv\u00e4ve i v\u00e4vnaderna hos vuxna laxfiskar som odlats i tre olika livsmilj\u00f6er.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deras studie ledde till uppt\u00e4ckten att fiskar som odlats i s\u00e4songsbundna flodsl\u00e4tter hade fler lager av linsen och v\u00e4xte mycket snabbare \u00e4n de som odlats i floder och kl\u00e4ckerier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isotopanalysen visade ocks\u00e5 att fiskarna hade ett h\u00f6gt inneh\u00e5ll av kol och svavel p\u00e5 grund av risf\u00e4lten i f\u00f6rbifarten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bindningen mellan proteinerna i \u00f6gonfiskkulan och isotopelementet anv\u00e4ndes f\u00f6r att analysera dietinneh\u00e5llet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00f6rutom detta hade den unga laxfisken ett stabilt isotopelement registrerat i sin \u00f6gonlins, vilket ledde till j\u00e4mf\u00f6relsen med den vuxna fisken f\u00f6r \u00f6versikten av dess livsmilj\u00f6 och n\u00e4ringsk\u00e4lla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Detta verktyg f\u00f6r analys av stabila isotoper (SIA) har breddat m\u00f6jligheterna f\u00f6r olika bevarandeprojekt.
