Toda celice so bile \u017eive - in \u017ee to je zelo pomembno odkritje.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\"Dosedanje ugotovitve so pokazale, da se v celicah v bistvu v nekaj minutah za\u010dne proces celi\u010dne smrti,\"<\/em>\u00a0je na novinarski konferenci povedal Nenad Sestan, nevroznanstvenik z univerze Yale, ki je vodil raziskavo. <em>\"Pokazali smo, da je proces celi\u010dne smrti postopen, in nekatere od teh procesov je mogo\u010de odlo\u017eiti, ohraniti ali celo obrniti.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Poskus s po\u0161kodbami mo\u017eganov<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Po podatkih revije Nature Magazine so raziskovalci preverili, kako dobro so se mo\u017egani obna\u0161ali v \u0161esturnem obdobju. Ugotovili so, da so nevroni in druge mo\u017eganske celice ponovno vzpostavili normalne presnovne funkcije, kot sta poraba sladkorja in proizvodnja ogljikovega dioksida. Zdi se, da je deloval tudi imunski sistem mo\u017eganov. Strukture posameznih celic in delov mo\u017eganov so bile ohranjene. Nasprotno pa so celice v kontrolnih mo\u017eganih, ki niso prejeli raztopine, bogate s hranili in kisikom, propadle. Ko so znanstveniki vzorce tkiva iz zdravljenih mo\u017eganov napeljali z elektriko, so ugotovili, da lahko posamezni nevroni \u0161e vedno prena\u0161ajo signal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Znanstveniki so ustvarili sistem, imenovan BrainEx, posebej zasnovan za oslabitev nekaterih procesov, ki so odgovorni za razgradnjo tkiva v posmrtnih mo\u017eganih. Sistem vklju\u010duje \u010drpanje raztopine, imenovane perfuzat BEx. Raztopina je patentirana me\u0161anica za\u0161\u010ditnih, stabilizacijskih in kontrastnih sredstev, ki delujejo kot nadomestek krvi. Perfuzat vsebuje tudi kemikalije, ki zaustavljajo oksidacijo telesnega tkiva, kar zaustavlja apoptozo. Vsebuje tudi blokator nevronske aktivnosti, katerega namen je dvojen. Mo\u017egani pra\u0161i\u010da so bili s perfuzijskim sistemom povezani prek arterijskih linij.\u00a0<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Raziskovalci so uporabili pribli\u017eno 300 pra\u0161i\u010djih glav iz klavnice ameri\u0161kega ministrstva za kmetijstvo. Po optimizaciji tehnologije je ekipa na sistem BrainEx priklju\u010dila 32 pra\u0161i\u010djih mo\u017eganov. Povezavo so izvedli \u0161tiri ure po zakolu pra\u0161i\u010dev in po odstranitvi mo\u017eganov iz lobanj.
