Uspeh v znanosti merimo s \u0161tevilom objavljenih \u010dlankov. Tako se za\u010dne tekma za dokon\u010danje na\u0161ih raziskav.<\/p>\n<p>Razumemo, zakaj je objava na\u0161ih raziskav tako pomembna. Da bi to dosegli, je treba prehoditi dolgo pot izvajanja poskusov in zbiranja podatkov, da ne omenjamo prehoda skozi pregledovalce in urednike revij. Najprej je objavljen \u010dlanek pomenil:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dobro vpra\u0161anje<\/li>\n<li>Dobro na\u010drtovani poskusi<\/li>\n<li>Ustrezni podatki za vpra\u0161anje<\/li>\n<li>Analiza in razprava, ki sta dodali nove poglede na predmet \u0161tudije<\/li>\n<li>Prispevek k znanosti in svetu, v katerem \u017eivimo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ni treba biti genij, da bi spoznali, da se to ne zgodi vedno.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/opinion\/prof-no-one-is-reading-you\">Glede na \u0161tudijo<\/a>, objavljene \u010dlanke v povpre\u010dju prebere 10 ljudi. In to \u0161e ni vse. 82% objavljenih \u010dlankov ni niti enkrat citiranih - od tistih, ki so citirani, jih je bilo prebranih le 20%.<\/p>\n<p>Si predstavljate, da bi se trudili objaviti \u010dlanek, pa ga poleg avtorjev, recenzentov in urednikov revije ne bi prebral nih\u010de drug?<br \/>\nTo je usoda ve\u010dine \u010dasopisov.<\/p>\n<p>Zakaj torej uspeh v znanosti merimo s \u0161tevilom objavljenih \u010dlankov?<\/p>\n<p>Si predstavljate, da bi svoj uspeh merili na druga\u010den na\u010din? Na primer, potrebovali bi veliko la\u017eji na\u010din za razlago na\u0161ih \u0161tudij. Raziskovalci bi bili zainteresirani za to, da svoje ugotovitve - ne samo objavijo - ampak tudi zagotovijo, da so lahko razumljive.<\/p>\n<p>\u010ce pogledamo, kako revije komunicirajo, lahko vidimo, da nekatere \u017ee spreminjajo navodila za objavljanje.
