Mind the Graph je predaval na kongresu znanstvene ilustracije! \u010ce niste mogli biti tam, ne skrbite. Tukaj je rezultat:<\/p>\n

Kako se izra\u017ea znanstveni svet<\/h3>\n

Realnost ni dobra. Ve\u010dina ugotovitev je zabele\u017eena le v dolgih in dolgo\u010dasnih \u010dlankih, ki jih nih\u010de ne bo nikoli prebral.<\/p>\n

\u010ce pa znanstvenik posku\u0161a najti slike, da bi svoje ugotovitve naredil nekoliko bolj nazorne, se mora zadovoljiti z Google Images, saj je zelo te\u017eko najti znanstvene ilustracije.<\/p>\n

\"Kongres<\/a><\/p>\n

Tudi najbolj\u0161e znanstvene revije imajo te\u017eave z vizualno komunikacijo. Revija Nature je ena najbolj\u0161ih znanstvenih revij. Pravzaprav lahko v reviji Nature Reviews najdemo veliko primerov prevajanja pisnih podatkov v grafi\u010dne izvle\u010dke. Vendar pa bi nekatere od njih \u0161e vedno lahko nekoliko izbolj\u0161ali.<\/p>\n

\"Kongres<\/a><\/p>\n

\u017delja, da bi bila znanost bolj vizualna, se ka\u017ee v pomenu, ki ga imajo dokumenti z grafi ali diagrami. \u010casopis The Economist je pisal o resnici, ki se skriva za geslom \"Slika je vredna tiso\u010d besed\", in dejal, da grafi in diagrami dejansko ustvarijo ve\u010d citatov. Ker je v znanosti potrebna vizualna komunikacija in ker imamo te\u017eave s slikami, ki so na voljo na spletu, smo potrebovali novo orodje.<\/p>\n

Podjetje Mind the Graph je bilo ustanovljeno za zadovoljitev povpra\u0161evanja po znanstveno natan\u010dnih ilustracijah. Ne samo to, \u0161e vedno si prizadevamo izbolj\u0161ati znanstveno komunikacijo in pomagati znanstvenikom pri ve\u010dji prepoznavnosti njihovega dela. Vendar pa tega ne posku\u0161amo storiti namesto njih. Namesto tega \u017eelimo, da bi bili znanstveniki 100% sposobni sami izdelati grafi\u010dne izvle\u010dke, plakate, predstavitve in infografike.<\/p>\n
