Cystick\u00e1 fibr\u00f3za (CF) je autozom\u00e1lne reces\u00edvne genetick\u00e9 ochorenie. CF je sp\u00f4soben\u00e1 mut\u00e1ciami v g\u00e9ne k\u00f3duj\u00facom kan\u00e1l CFTR (cystic fibrosis transmembrane conduance regulator).  Tento prote\u00edn je zodpovedn\u00fd za odch\u00fdlky v transporte i\u00f3nov cez bunkov\u00e9 membr\u00e1ny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pod\u013ea referenci\u00ed Genetics home <sup>1<\/sup>, g\u00e9n CFTR poskytuje in\u0161trukcie na tvorbu prote\u00ednu naz\u00fdvan\u00e9ho regul\u00e1tor transmembr\u00e1novej vodivosti cystickej fibr\u00f3zy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tento prote\u00edn funguje ako kan\u00e1l cez membr\u00e1nu buniek, ktor\u00e9 produkuj\u00fa hlien, pot, sliny, slzy a tr\u00e1viace enz\u00fdmy. Kan\u00e1l pren\u00e1\u0161a z\u00e1porne nabit\u00e9 \u010dastice naz\u00fdvan\u00e9 chloridov\u00e9 i\u00f3ny do buniek a z buniek. Prenos chloridov\u00fdch i\u00f3nov pom\u00e1ha kontrolova\u0165 pohyb vody v tkaniv\u00e1ch, \u010do je nevyhnutn\u00e9 na tvorbu riedkeho, vo\u013ene te\u010d\u00faceho hlienu.
