E os resumos gr\u00e1ficos s\u00e3o uma \u00f3tima maneira de realizar isso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atualmente, da Nature Portfolio, somente Nature Chemical Biology e Nature Chemistry publicam seus artigos com resumos gr\u00e1ficos.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Um artigo \"<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/nchem.1109.pdf\">A arte dos resumos<\/a>\" publicado pela Nature Chemistry em agosto de 2011 menciona que o uso de resumos gr\u00e1ficos (pelo menos em revistas de qu\u00edmica) \u00e9 anterior \u00e0 internet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O artigo relata que os resumos gr\u00e1ficos apareceram pela primeira vez em uma revista de qu\u00edmica em 1976, na l\u00edngua alem\u00e3 Angewandte Chemie, e posteriormente na mesma revista, mas na edi\u00e7\u00e3o internacional em 1977. \"Tanto quanto sei, Angewandte Chemie foi o primeiro a fornecer este recurso\", diz Peter G\u00f6litz, o editor-chefe da revista desde 1982.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Foi por volta dessa \u00e9poca que os peri\u00f3dicos come\u00e7aram a mudar sua foto de capa. Entretanto, muitas revistas de qu\u00edmica ainda mantiveram suas capas inalteradas por muitos anos. De acordo com o artigo, esta mudan\u00e7a levou anos devido \u00e0 natureza conservadora desta ind\u00fastria.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/journal\/tetrahedron-letters\">Cartas Tetrahedron<\/a>A Elsevier, uma plataforma l\u00edder da Elsevier de literatura acad\u00eamica revisada por pares, abra\u00e7ou resumos gr\u00e1ficos somente em 1986. N\u00e3o foi at\u00e9 1994 que os resumos gr\u00e1ficos marcaram presen\u00e7a nas p\u00e1ginas de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rsc.org\/journals-books-databases\/about-journals\/chemcomm\/\">Comunica\u00e7\u00f5es Qu\u00edmicas<\/a>. Enquanto isso, os leitores do<a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.acs.org\/journal\/jacsat\"> Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS)<\/a> esperaram at\u00e9 2002 para ver os resumos gr\u00e1ficos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De todos os campos, a Qu\u00edmica foi um dos primeiros a abra\u00e7ar resumos gr\u00e1ficos, e isso n\u00e3o foi por acaso. A qu\u00edmica \u00e9 um assunto visual, suas sub-disciplinas, tais como org\u00e2nica, inorg\u00e2nica e, mesmo sendo bioqu\u00edmica, est\u00e3o muito relacionadas \u00e0s estruturas das mol\u00e9culas e suas v\u00e1rias formas poss\u00edveis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uma simples rea\u00e7\u00e3o qu\u00edmica pode ter pelo menos duas mol\u00e9culas diferentes interagindo e mudando atrav\u00e9s de um determinado mecanismo, passando por mais de uma estrutura intermedi\u00e1ria. Explicar isto usando apenas palavras pode n\u00e3o s\u00f3 ser dif\u00edcil, mas tamb\u00e9m uma tarefa muito complexa.
