Het is opmerkelijk om de woorden van de medeoprichter te benadrukken <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/fabriciopamplona\/\">Fabricio Pamplona<\/a>\u00a0met de nadruk op het empathische aspect achter het platform (zie hieronder).<\/p>\n<p>Empathie is vanaf het begin een cruciaal punt geweest in de productontwikkeling van mindthegraph. Dit was geen bewuste strategie voor digitale branding, maar eerder een legitieme strategie om een product te cre\u00ebren dat betekenisvol is voor onze lieve gebruikers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8125\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/foto001-1024x368.jpeg\" alt=\"foto.001\" width=\"640\" height=\"230\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/foto001.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/foto001-300x108.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/foto001-768x276.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>De markt (diep) begrijpen is cruciaal om een zinvol product te maken. En dat kwam vanzelf, omdat een van de medeoprichters zelf wetenschapper is. Fabricio had initiatieven als het \"Artikel van de Toekomst\" van Elsevier gevolgd en wist dat wetenschappers worstelen met het maken van cijfers en presentaties om hun werk weer te geven.<\/p>\n<p>Een wetenschappelijk artikel geeft onderzoek weer waaraan men gemiddeld 30K tot 100K USD heeft besteed, en al deze inzichtelijke (en dure) informatie is verborgen achter een letterlijke muur van woorden. Niemand leest, niemand citeert, niemand geeft erom. Triest, nietwaar?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.economist.com\/science-and-technology\/2016\/06\/16\/graphic-details\">Een recente studie van de Economist<\/a> laat zien dat een regulier artikel minder dan 2 citaties krijgt... Waarom maakt dat uit? Omdat geciteerd worden \"relevantie\" betekent in de gemeenschap voor een onderzoeker. Ze veranderen onsmakelijke wetenschappelijke gegevens in iets leuks om te lezen, te citeren en te delen.<\/h3>\n<p>Mensen begrijpen meer, onthouden meer en hebben meer plezier bij het studeren met infographics. Zie bijvoorbeeld <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/scientific-presentations-2\/\">de figuur gemaakt voor een van onze klanten Prof. Prediger<\/a> om het Parkinson-model samen te vatten. Daarom begonnen we met wat men noemt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZdZH2V9Ni1Q\">\"conci\u00ebrge-validatie\" in het productontwerpproces<\/a>, dat was het, om aan de gebruikersbehoefte te voldoen door een dienst te leveren om te begrijpen hoe ze denken en wat ze eigenlijk willen. In productontwerpjargon: voelen waar het pijn doet.<\/p>\n<p>De onderstaande figuur toont het exacte Eureka-moment voor de creatie van de <a href=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\">Mind the Graph platform<\/a>. Hier zie je de werkelijke feedback van een gebruiker op een figuur dat door ons op aanvraag is gemaakt. Hij vond het blijkbaar leuk, maar nam de tijd om het af te drukken en sommige delen geel te markeren, legenden te schrijven en zelfs nieuwe tekeningen toe te voegen.<\/p>\n<p>We realiseren ons dat de klant zei: Ik vind het leuk wat jullie doen, maar doe het alsjeblieft op deze manier. Doe het op MIJN manier. Onze waardepropositie is om wetenschap te ontrafelen door middel van visuele en creatieve koppelingen en, fundamenteel gezien, om de hulpmiddelen te bieden, niet de antwoorden.  Het is alsof je leert vissen, in plaats van de vis te verschaffen.
