Hoe sneller de wereld draait, hoe meer je moet leren en uiteenlopende informatie aan elkaar moet koppelen. Hierdoor ontstaan nieuwe studiegebieden en natuurlijk ook toekomstige carri\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>Voor de wetenschap kunnen we ten minste \u00e9\u00e9n nieuwe schakel bedenken: wetenschappelijke informatie en communicatie. Momenteel is Gil verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp van de Research Communication ontwikkeld bij de Champalimaud Foundation, waarbij hij zorgt voor alle graphics en design voor wetenschappelijke papers. Zijn uitdaging is om wetenschappelijke kennis over te dragen en de communicatie tussen onderzoekers te bevorderen.<\/p>\n<p>Als ontwerper van wetenschapscommunicatie helpt Gil wetenschappers om de gegevens uit hun conclusies te halen en in een figuur om te zetten. Gil zegt dat hij zelf wat onderzoek moet doen, op de hoogte moet blijven en referenties moet zoeken om goed te begrijpen wat de onderzoekers beogen als ze samenwerken.
