Ze zijn informatief, innovatief en trending.<\/p>\n<p>TED verscheen voor het eerst in 1984 toen Richard Saul Wurman's Technology, Entertainment and Design met elkaar verbond. Hoewel het resulteerde in een conferentie, was het resultaat niet erg goed.<\/p>\n<p>Pas in 1990 besloten twee mannen, Hayy Marks en Wurman, het nog eens te proberen. Ze waren ontwrichtend en ontspannen waardoor mensen zich betrokken voelden bij het doel ervan.<\/p>\n<p>Een goed voorbeeld is de lezing van Hans Rosling in 2006. Hij introduceerde datavisualisatie met veel humor en relevante informatie. Daarmee bedoelen ze het communiceren van bevindingen en het helpen van mensen bij het leggen van verbanden.<\/p>\n<p>Toen TED Talks door de jaren heen viraal gingen, wilden steeds meer mensen er deel van uitmaken. TEDx kwam om organisatoren over de hele wereld te verenigen en nieuwe TED-ervaringen te cre\u00ebren. TEDx evenementen zijn lokale bijeenkomsten die nieuwe idee\u00ebn losmaken, een gemeenschap inspireren en informeren. Niet alleen geeft het een unieke kans om zich ergens voor in te zetten en gesprekken uit te lokken die er op lokaal niveau toe doen.<\/p>\n<p>Recentelijk heeft TED zich ook toegelegd op educatieve video's.
