Naarmate de wetenschap zich ontwikkelde, stimuleerde de noodzaak om voorvallen en patronen te registreren nieuwe analyses en complexe algoritmen. Maar het maakte wetenschap ook slechts voor een paar mensen weggelegd.<\/p>\n<p>Tegelijkertijd draaide de wereld in een andere richting. Terwijl het internet de wereld in een eindeloos bijgewerkt web dompelde, bouwde de wetenschap haar geheime club van specialisten op.<\/p>\n<p>Het is nog maar een paar jaar geleden dat wetenschappers het nodig vonden hun bevindingen openbaar te maken om het grote publiek te bereiken.<\/p>\n<p>Het probleem was: de kloof was zo groot dat alleen wetenschappers ge\u00efnteresseerd raakten in wetenschap.<br \/>\nEn nog erger, alleen wetenschappers zouden de wetenschappelijke taal begrijpen. Voor het grote publiek was \"data\" een betekenisloos woord. Het betekent je werk presenteren op een manier die andere mensen kunnen begrijpen en verbanden kunnen leggen. Het is belangrijk te beseffen dat voor iemand die altijd de wetenschappelijke taal heeft gesproken, datavisualisatie misschien niet gemakkelijk is.<\/p>\n<p>Voor dat doel vormen wetenschap en ontwerp een perfect paar.<\/p>\n<p>Terwijl de wetenschap informatie en een doel verschaft, biedt design visuele vorm en een verhaal. Samen leveren ze <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/you-mind-we-graph\/\">datavisualisatie zoals het hoort.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Veel mensen verwarren het idee van datavisualisatie met het toevoegen van enig visueel materiaal. Je kunt dit probleem omzeilen door je af te vragen: wat is de beste manier om mijn bevindingen te presenteren? Worden ze het best uitgelegd aan de hand van een illustratie of een tekst? Wat dacht u van een infographic?
