Iets dat verbanden legt met andere grote werken, andere klassiekers, niet alleen uit zijn eigen tijd maar ook uit andere tijdperken. Ja, een groot kenmerk van een klassieker is dit: het doorstaat de tand des tijds.<\/p>\n<p>Toch is er, zelfs met al deze aanwijzingen, geen algoritme om ons te helpen bepalen wat een echte klassieker is of zal zijn in de toekomst.<\/p>\n<p>Daarom kunnen we het uiteindelijk gewoon voelen. Dat zijn afbeeldingen die in specifieke kennisgebieden viraal zijn gegaan, die in bijna elke scriptiepresentatie van een bepaald vakgebied voorkomen. Hun impact is enorm, niet alleen afgemeten aan het aantal citaties, maar ook aan hun aanwezigheid in proefschriften, presentaties, boeken en zelfs kranten en blogs. Bewondering en autoriteit maken hun auteurs heilig.<\/p>\n<p>Misschien is niet alle bekendheid van deze kranten te danken aan hun afbeeldingen en illustraties, maar het is duidelijk dat zij een belangrijke rol spelen bij het vergemakkelijken van het begrip, het geven van een identiteit en het bevorderen van de verspreiding van die informatie.<\/p>\n<p>Dus laat de klassiekers ons inspireren.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>De Halve Mijlpalen van Kanker<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cell.com\/action\/showFullTextImages?pii=S0092-8674%2800%2981683-9\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4280\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/cancer-849x1024.jpg\" alt=\"kanker\" width=\"483\" height=\"583\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/cancer-849x1024.jpg 849w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/cancer-249x300.jpg 249w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/cancer.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 483px) 100vw, 483px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Als je met kanker werkt, ken je dit beeld. Het stelt de zes barri\u00e8res voor die een cel moet overwinnen om kwaadaardig te worden, elk in een kleur en een vorm.
