(2018) op dat de studie van neuronen als ge\u00efndividualiseerde eenheden zijn begin heeft in de 19e eeuw met het ontstaan van de Neuron Doctrine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De laatste jaren zijn grote inspanningen geleverd om de neuronale organisatie en connectiviteit in intacte hersenmonsters te begrijpen. De Golgi-Cox labelingtechniek biedt een geschikt contrast voor de specifieke labeling van neuronen voor r\u00f6ntgenmicrotomografie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neuronen hebben een uitgesproken morfologie en specifieke verbindingspatronen, die essentieel zijn voor hun goede werking. De onderzoekers presenteren een beeldvormingsmethode die synchrotron-gebaseerde r\u00f6ntgenmicrotomografie combineert met het Golgi-Cox impregnatieprotocol. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De methode biedt een hoger en homogener contrast van relatief schaars verdeelde hele neuronen in het weefsel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>De hersenen werden gedurende 14 dagen ge\u00efncubeerd in Golgi-Cox-kleuroplossing, beschermd tegen licht.
