It has an important role in the greenhouse effect, with other gases like methane. The greenhouse effect allows the life on Earth, catching the heat.&nbsp; Normally, the Earth\u2019s carbon cycle maintains a natural balance of carbon in the atmosphere, land, and ocean through the \u201cbreathing of the planet\u201d. However, human activities as emission of fossil fuels are breaking the balance of carbon cycle causing climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-1 wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/science_figures\">Lag effektive vitenskapelige figurer p\u00e5 f\u00e5 minutter<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Slik fungerer karbonsyklusen<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Havene spiller en viktig rolle i karbonsyklusen. Globalt sett ligger temperaturene i 2018 etter 2016, 2017 og 2015.
