Allison og Tasuku Honjo i fellesskap \"for deres oppdagelse av kreftbehandling ved \u00e5 hemme negativ immunregulering\".<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Allison studerte et protein som fungerer som en brems p\u00e5 immunsystemet. Han inns\u00e5 potensialet i \u00e5 frigj\u00f8re bremsen og dermed slippe l\u00f8s immuncellene v\u00e5re til \u00e5 angripe svulster. Deretter utviklet han dette konseptet til en helt ny metode for behandling av pasienter.<\/p>\n<p>Parallelt oppdaget Tasuku Honjo et protein p\u00e5 immunceller og avsl\u00f8rte at det ogs\u00e5 fungerer som en brems, men med en annen virkningsmekanisme.<\/p>\n<p>Allison og Honjo viste derfor hvordan ulike strategier for \u00e5 hemme immunforsvarets bremser kan brukes i behandlingen av kreft.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8225\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/image_uploaded_froms_ios.jpg\" alt=\"bilde_opplastet_froms_ios\" width=\"850\" height=\"850\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Nobelprisen i kjemi<\/strong><\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>Nobelprisen i kjemi 2018 ble delt, og den ene halvparten gikk til Frances H.
