Disse proteinene er bundet av isotopiske elementer som f\u00f8rer til en isotopisk signatur som kan evalueres gjennom analyse av stabile isotoper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den unge laksefisken ble studert i tre ulike isotopiske habitater med ulike n\u00e6ringsnett for \u00e5 kvantifisere det arkiverte vevet i fiske\u00f8yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De stabile isotopene som ble brukt, var svovel 35, karbon 13 og nitrogen 15 (<sup>34<\/sup>S, <sup>13<\/sup>C,<sup>15<\/sup>N).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Svovelisotopen er nyttig for \u00e5 finne ut hva fisken har spist. Fisk fra kystvandring er rik p\u00e5 karbon-13-isotoper, og brukes derfor til \u00e5 bestemme vandringen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nitrogenisotopen brukes i styringen av de trofiske niv\u00e5ene hos vandrende dyr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">The stable isotope analysis is formulated on the basis of the &#8220;you are what you eat\u201d concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e5 bakgrunn av dette har forskerne sett etter isotoper av grunnstoffer som svovel, karbon og nitrogen i vevet til voksen laksefisk som har vokst i tre ulike habitater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unders\u00f8kelsen f\u00f8rte til at fisken som ble dyrket i den sesongbaserte flomsletten, hadde flere linselag og vokste mye raskere enn fisken som vokste i elven og klekkeriet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isotopanalysen viste ogs\u00e5 at fiskene hadde et h\u00f8yt innhold av karbon og svovel p\u00e5 grunn av rismarkene i omkj\u00f8ringsveien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bindingen av proteinet i fiskekulene og isotopelementet ble brukt til \u00e5 analysere innholdet i dietten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I tillegg til dette ble det registrert stabile isotopelementer i \u00f8yelinsen p\u00e5 lakseyngelen, noe som gjorde det mulig \u00e5 sammenligne den med voksen fisk for \u00e5 f\u00e5 oversikt over habitat og n\u00e6ringskilde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Dette verkt\u00f8yet for analyse av stabile isotoper (SIA) har utvidet mulighetene for ulike bevaringsprosjekter.
