But it is normal to be confused about the name global warming. Specially when winter is coming, you get cold and expect snowing for the weekend. So let&#8217;s see the newest scientific data to understand.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>01. Klima X V\u00e6r<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It isn&#8217;t the same thing. While weather is a temporary scale, climate is a long-term average. So even we keep experiencing cold days, this doesn&#8217;t nullify the arise of the global temperature. In fact,\u00a0you can expect harsher winters in a warming world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;<em>Climate is defined as the average weather patterns in a region over a long period of time. It&#8217;s the difference between Europe&#8217;s temperate and Mediterranean zones versus the harsh cold conditions of the Arctic tundra. Each of these climate regions experiences day-to-day fluctuations in temperature, precipitation, air pressure, and so on\u2014daily variations known as weather&#8221;<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalgeographic.com\/environment\/2019\/01\/climate-change-colder-winters-global-warming-polar-vortex\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kilde: National Geographic National Geographic<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>02. Ekstreme temperaturer<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Begrepet \"global oppvarming\" ble skapt for noen ti\u00e5r siden. P\u00e5 den tiden var man mest bekymret for<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/carbon-cycle-greenhouse-effect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> drivhusgasser som varmer opp planeten, <\/a>increasing the average temperature.\u00a0However the increase of carbon dioxide and methane gases in the atmosphere is causing more than\u00a0temperature increase.
