Sebagai peneliti, kami merasakan sakitnya ketika kami ingin membaca sebuah makalah namun tidak memiliki akses gratis ke makalah tersebut. Meskipun banyak universitas yang menyediakan platform terbuka, pasar bajakan masih ada untuk informasi ilmiah.<\/p>\n<p>Membeli karya ilmiah mungkin tidak terdengar begitu aneh ketika kita mempertimbangkan bahwa itu adalah sebuah karya. Ini adalah produk akhir yang dikembangkan oleh sekelompok peneliti selama bertahun-tahun. Namun demikian, gagasan untuk mengenakan biaya untuk informasi bertentangan dengan tujuan melakukan dan mengomunikasikan ilmu pengetahuan.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk alasan ini, banyak negara telah mengubah politik mereka selama beberapa tahun terakhir dan beradaptasi dengan proses akses terbuka. Masalahnya, masih banyak platform sains berpengaruh yang tidak setuju untuk bergabung dengan format yang lebih bebas. Di satu sisi, sungguh menakjubkan melihat negara-negara tradisional membuat kemajuan dalam komunikasi sains. Namun, ada kritik besar terhadap proporsi pengumuman ini. Argumennya adalah bahwa negara-negara lain telah mengubah akses ke informasi ilmiah di masa lalu dan Eropa hanya melakukan apa yang seharusnya mereka lakukan bertahun-tahun yang lalu. Bukan masalah besar.<\/p>\n<p>Terlepas dari konflik ego yang ada, sangat menyenangkan melihat perkembangan komunikasi sains.
