Il y a quelques mois, j'ai montr\u00e9<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/alzheimers-graphical-abstracts\/#.W4WcaOhKiUl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> les infographies<\/a>\u00a0Le Dr Stefania Forner a cr\u00e9\u00e9 pour l'article de synth\u00e8se publi\u00e9 dans Trends in Neurosciences intitul\u00e9 Synaptic impairment in Alzheimer's Disease : A dysregulated symphony.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aujourd'hui, je veux parler de leur nouvel article de synth\u00e8se intitul\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/323527342_Past_to_Future_What_Animal_Models_Have_Taught_Us_About_Alzheimer's_Disease\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Du pass\u00e9 au futur : ce que les mod\u00e8les animaux nous ont appris sur la maladie d'Alzheimer.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La maladie d'Alzheimer (MA) est une maladie neurod\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rative qui entra\u00eene des d\u00e9ficits cognitifs et des pertes de m\u00e9moire. Comprendre le m\u00e9canisme de la maladie est important pour am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de vie des patients et trouver un traitement efficace. Aujourd'hui, malgr\u00e9 d'immenses efforts au sein du monde universitaire et de l'industrie pharmaceutique, aucun traitement efficace n'est disponible. La MA est la sixi\u00e8me cause de d\u00e9c\u00e8s aux \u00c9tats-Unis et touche 35 millions de personnes dans le monde.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Infographie sur la maladie d'Alzheimer<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La majorit\u00e9 des patients atteints de la maladie d'Alzheimer sont des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es qui souffrent souvent de diverses comorbidit\u00e9s. La prot\u00e9ine Tau ne p\u00e9n\u00e8tre pas dans le noyau du neurone, ce qui entra\u00eene des l\u00e9sions de l'ADN. Il y a une r\u00e9duction du nombre de mitochondries et aussi du nombre de v\u00e9sicules pr\u00e9synaptiques, ce qui entra\u00eene une perte synaptique. Cette perte est \u00e9galement due \u00e0 l'entr\u00e9e de tau dans les dendrites et les zones postsynaptiques.
