L'article sugg\u00e8re que de l'eau liquide pourrait se trouver sous une couche de glace au p\u00f4le sud de Mars.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\"L'eau est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme l'une des exigences fondamentales pour la vie. Il s'agit de la premi\u00e8re masse stable d'eau liquide jamais d\u00e9couverte sur Mars, et elle pourrait \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme un habitat potentiel\", a expliqu\u00e9 Roberto Orosei, un scientifique principal de l'Institut de radioastronomie en Italie qui a analys\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cette d\u00e9couverte est d'autant plus \u00e9tonnante qu'il existe des lacs souterrains de ce type pr\u00e8s des p\u00f4les de la Terre, principalement au Groenland et en Antarctique. L'un de ces lacs, le lac subglaciaire Whillans, en Antarctique, n'est plus \u00e0 la surface de la Terre depuis des millions d'ann\u00e9es.  Et r\u00e9cemment, des scientifiques ont d\u00e9couvert des bact\u00e9ries qui y vivent encore dans un isolement total.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le lac Vostok, situ\u00e9 sous des kilom\u00e8tres de glace, est recouvert de glace depuis au moins 15 millions d'ann\u00e9es.
