Un arbre g\u00e9n\u00e9alogique peut \u00eatre bas\u00e9 sur \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s toutes les caract\u00e9ristiques que le scientifique souhaite. Cependant, de nos jours, la principale caract\u00e9ristique utilis\u00e9e est l'ADN.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsque nous pensons \u00e0 l'ADN, nous pensons aux animaux, aux plantes, aux bact\u00e9ries, aux champignons et \u00e0 d'autres groupes assez familiers en science. Mais que se passerait-il si d'autres choses pouvaient aussi avoir de l'ADN ? Disons que les \u00e9toiles pourraient aussi \u00eatre analys\u00e9es par leur ADN et m\u00eame obtenir un arbre g\u00e9n\u00e9alogique qui leur serait propre.<\/p>\n<p>Cette discussion a commenc\u00e9 avec deux scientifiques : un astronome et un biologiste. L'astronome, <a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/mnras\/article\/2966869\/Cosmic\">\u00a0Dr. Paula Jofr\u00e9 de l'Universit\u00e9 de Cambridge<\/a>a eu l'id\u00e9e g\u00e9niale d'analyser les \u00e9toiles de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re que les biologistes le font avec les esp\u00e8ces animales et de construire l'arbre g\u00e9n\u00e9alogique des \u00e9toiles de la Voie lact\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Les astronomes ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 un arbre g\u00e9n\u00e9alogique pour les \u00e9toiles de notre galaxie.\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HZq1dLuhjMg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Le Dr Paula Jofr\u00e9 et son \u00e9quipe ont choisi 22 \u00e9toiles (dont le Soleil) et ont \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les produits chimiques dont elles sont compos\u00e9es, leur \u00e2ge et leur mouvement. Une fois tout cela collect\u00e9, ils ont d\u00e9couvert trois branches principales dans lesquelles les \u00e9toiles pouvaient \u00eatre divis\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Mais qu'est-ce que l'ADN a \u00e0 voir avec tout \u00e7a ?<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9toiles qui sont n\u00e9es dans le m\u00eame nuage de gaz, ont une composition similaire. Cette composition est appel\u00e9e \"ADN stellaire\". \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que certaines \u00e9toiles analys\u00e9es ne poss\u00e9daient pas d'ADN stellaire similaire aux trois branches d\u00e9couvertes, il est possible que certaines \u00e9toiles proviennent d'une galaxie diff\u00e9rente. Surtout si l'on tient compte du fait que le Dr Paula Jofr\u00e9 n'a analys\u00e9 que 22 \u00e9toiles sur les 100 milliards d'\u00e9toiles qui existent dans notre galaxie. Alors oui, des recherches plus pouss\u00e9es sont n\u00e9cessaires pour commencer \u00e0 faire des hypoth\u00e8ses.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, le message que nous tirons de cette recherche est clair et net : n'ayez pas peur d'apprendre de diff\u00e9rents domaines d'\u00e9tudes. La solution \u00e0 vos probl\u00e8mes ou simplement une meilleure fa\u00e7on de voir les choses se trouve peut-\u00eatre juste \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de vous.
