Normalmente, el ciclo del carbono de la Tierra mantiene un equilibrio natural de carbono en la atm\u00f3sfera, la tierra y el oc\u00e9ano a trav\u00e9s de la \"respiraci\u00f3n del planeta\". Sin embargo, las actividades humanas como la emisi\u00f3n de combustibles f\u00f3siles est\u00e1n rompiendo el equilibrio del ciclo del carbono provocando el cambio clim\u00e1tico, como el aumento del efecto invernadero y la acidificaci\u00f3n de los oc\u00e9anos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed que, para entender las consecuencias de la acidificaci\u00f3n de los oc\u00e9anos, primero hay que recapitular el ciclo del carbono.
