Las ilustraciones son una poderosa herramienta para ello. Como humanos, somos una especie visual y las im\u00e1genes son \u00fatiles para entender algo a primera vista, ya que un gran porcentaje del cerebro humano se dedica al procesamiento visual.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, cuando pensamos en la comunicaci\u00f3n en la ciencia, normalmente hablamos de res\u00famenes gr\u00e1ficos para art\u00edculos, presentaciones o medios sociales. Pero la brecha es a\u00fan mayor.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfY si utilizamos iconos para hacer m\u00e1s comprensible un folleto de informaci\u00f3n al paciente?<\/h3>\n<p>Utilizar s\u00f3lo texto con un lenguaje complejo puede confundir al paciente y comprometer el tratamiento.
