Vamos a empezar con una peque\u00f1a introducci\u00f3n de Rafael campo de estudio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El sistema inmunitario cuenta con mecanismos que distinguen lo propio de lo ajeno, buscando siempre la salud del individuo. La investigaci\u00f3n de Rafael pone de manifiesto lo que ocurre si este mecanismo falla. En particular, el papel de una familia de p\u00e9ptidos llamados kininas, implicados en una amplia gama de procesos y enfermedades (por ejemplo, Alzheimer, c\u00e1ncer, epilepsia, etc.).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rafael utiliz\u00f3 los res\u00famenes gr\u00e1ficos que hizo en el Mind the Graph para complementar e ilustrar los puntos principales de su investigaci\u00f3n.
