Siempre pensamos en los nuevos descubrimientos y en su repercusi\u00f3n, as\u00ed que tiene sentido pensar en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os. Lo que no solemos pensar al planificar nuestra vida acad\u00e9mica es nuestro legado como cient\u00edficos. Este legado no es s\u00f3lo nuestra investigaci\u00f3n, sino tambi\u00e9n las personas que continuar\u00e1n y conectar\u00e1n nuestros hallazgos con nuevas ideas. Estas personas son j\u00f3venes cient\u00edficos sedientos de nuevos descubrimientos y conexiones.<\/p>\n<p>Suena bien, \u00bfno? Sin embargo, s\u00f3lo hay un problema con esta corriente: parece que los j\u00f3venes cient\u00edficos potenciales no aspiran a tener una vida en el mundo acad\u00e9mico.<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/visual-information-for-science\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5826 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/i-love-science-300x120.png\" alt=\"j\u00f3venes cient\u00edficos\" width=\"300\" height=\"120\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/i-love-science-300x120.png 300w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/i-love-science-1024x410.png 1024w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/i-love-science.png 1500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>A <a href=\"http:\/\/zh.clicrbs.com.br\/rs\/vida-e-estilo\/noticia\/2016\/06\/pesquisa-aponta-desinteresse-dos-jovens-pela-carreira-cientifica-5866044.html\">grupo brasile\u00f1o de investigadores<\/a> en colaboraci\u00f3n con otros pa\u00edses (por ejemplo, Italia y Noruega) ha estudiado el inter\u00e9s de los adolescentes por la vida cient\u00edfica. Y sus an\u00e1lisis no parecen muy buenos.<\/p>\n<p>El estudio muestra que la persecuci\u00f3n de una vida cient\u00edfica no est\u00e1 en los planes de los adolescentes, aunque la mayor\u00eda de ellos tienen inter\u00e9s en la ciencia. Este dato es muy preocupante teniendo en cuenta que el futuro de la ciencia est\u00e1 en manos de los nuevos j\u00f3venes cient\u00edficos. Los pa\u00edses de Europa han afrontado y cambiado este escenario en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os. Sin embargo, Brasil no parece revertir la situaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/visual-information-for-science\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5683 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/19312190.jpg\" alt=\"j\u00f3venes cient\u00edficos\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/19312190.jpg 640w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/19312190-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cuando se trata de legar y contribuir a la ciencia, el papel de los cient\u00edficos es 100% comunicar: datos, hallazgos, ideas, etc. La mayor\u00eda de los adolescentes piensan que la ciencia es aburrida o no entienden la carrera cient\u00edfica. Parte de esto es culpa nuestra. Los cient\u00edficos nos olvidamos de comunicar bien nuestro trabajo y acabamos investigando s\u00f3lo para nosotros mismos.<\/p>\n<p>Las escuelas y los profesores de ciencias han estado buscando <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/visual-information-for-science\/\">nuevas herramientas para usar en clase<\/a> que capta la atenci\u00f3n de los alumnos. Estimular a los adolescentes para que hagan experimentos, hagan preguntas y piensen en la aplicabilidad de sus descubrimientos los compromete. El resultado son adolescentes que descubren que la ciencia puede ser divertida. Adem\u00e1s, conectar a los adolescentes con el prop\u00f3sito de la ciencia hace que su personalidad evolucione hacia un car\u00e1cter m\u00e1s cr\u00edtico y creativo.<\/p>\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de los adolescentes no se plantean la carrera acad\u00e9mica por la falta de conocimientos sobre la amplitud de la ciencia. La idea de convertirse en cient\u00edficos se limita a los de Biolog\u00eda, Qu\u00edmica, Matem\u00e1ticas o F\u00edsica, sin tener en cuenta que todos los campos de estudio tienen carreras cient\u00edficas a las que aspirar.<\/p>\n<p>En este asunto, <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/visual-information-for-science\/\">mostrar el impacto de los descubrimientos cient\u00edficos<\/a> en los campos m\u00e1s diversos puede ser un punto de inflexi\u00f3n para los adolescentes que se sienten vinculados a la ciencia.
