S\u00f3lo un investigador puede entender el sentimiento contradictorio de escuchar estas palabras.<\/p>\n<p>Al principio de nuestra vida cient\u00edfica, conseguir publicar un art\u00edculo cient\u00edfico puede ser extremadamente estresante. Desde la idea del proyecto hasta la asistencia a los cambios de los revisores, publicar un art\u00edculo cient\u00edfico parece una tarea imposible. A medida que pasa el tiempo, asimilamos el proceso y las cosas empiezan a parecer m\u00e1s naturales. Sin embargo, la presi\u00f3n de publicar en una buena revista es cada vez mayor, as\u00ed como la madurez y relevancia de nuestro trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>Para obtener la asombrosa satisfacci\u00f3n de ser publicados, los cient\u00edficos deben pasar por un largo proceso de revisi\u00f3n por pares. Este proceso puede prolongarse durante mucho tiempo y es parte de la raz\u00f3n por la que publicar puede ser tan estresante. Junto con ello, viene la incertidumbre sobre la calidad de nuestro trabajo y la mejora que puede necesitar. A menudo, s\u00f3lo descubrimos las principales lagunas de nuestra investigaci\u00f3n cuando ya est\u00e1 en manos de revisores influyentes. Por ello, los cient\u00edficos empezaron a buscar <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/mind-the-graph-and-overleaf\/\">formas alternativas<\/a> para solucionar este problema.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00edsicos, matem\u00e1ticos y cient\u00edficos sociales triunfan y ponen en pr\u00e1ctica una nueva rutina de publicaci\u00f3n: los preprints.<\/p>\n<p>Los preprints son en su mayor\u00eda un proceso de revisi\u00f3n abierto. Sin embargo, algunos campos de la ciencia se han mostrado un poco reacios a unirse al m\u00e9todo de los preprints.<\/p>\n<p>En las ciencias de la vida, los bi\u00f3logos parecen ir un paso o dos por detr\u00e1s cuando se trata de presentar su trabajo inacabado a otros cient\u00edficos.
