Cuando el tema es la informaci\u00f3n, combinar cifras y textos no es ninguna tendencia. Llamarla infograf\u00eda tampoco es una gran novedad. Entonces, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 seguimos hablando de infograf\u00eda como la idea definitiva de la d\u00e9cada?<\/p>\n

Simplemente porque el uso de la infograf\u00eda se convirti\u00f3 en una herramienta<\/a> m\u00e1s que una consecuencia.\"infograf\u00eda<\/a>La gente est\u00e1 tomando conciencia del poder de la infograf\u00eda cient\u00edfica para transmitir informaci\u00f3n con \u00e9xito. Y no cualquier gente. Gente realmente influyente y masiva.<\/p>\n

En 2014, Nature public\u00f3 en su blog<\/a>\u00a0sobre la comunicaci\u00f3n de la ciencia y lo genial que es utilizar una infograf\u00eda cient\u00edfica. La forma en que lo hicieron fue sencilla: mostrando que un par de amigos (la NASA y Scientific American) piensan que las infograf\u00edas cient\u00edficas tambi\u00e9n son geniales.<\/p>\n

Comenzaron el post con un premio Pulitzer, Gareth Cook, y su libro \"Best American Infographics 2013\".<\/p>\n

El libro demuestra la importancia de la infograf\u00eda cient\u00edfica al mostrar lo acogedora que puede ser.
\nDesde la cartograf\u00eda del ruido oce\u00e1nico hasta la anatom\u00eda de la velocidad, la infograf\u00eda es una gran herramienta para hacerse entender. Y cuando se trata de la ciencia, es algo natural.<\/p>\n

\"La ciencia es un campo en el que la infograf\u00eda es especialmente \u00fatil y poderosa (...).Nuestra b\u00fasqueda para entender el espacio es un gran ejemplo de ello: con distancias y fuerzas tan grandes es dif\u00edcil para la persona media dar sentido a lo que se ha descubierto. \u00bfC\u00f3mo es aterrizar en Marte? \u00bfQu\u00e9 tan solos estamos en la V\u00eda L\u00e1ctea, realmente? En el libro de Cook podemos encontrar una gu\u00eda del aterrizaje del rover Curiosity de la NASA en Marte en agosto de 2012. La NASA aport\u00f3 incre\u00edbles ilustraciones y Nature cre\u00f3 el dise\u00f1o de la informaci\u00f3n. Trabajando juntos, hicieron esto:<\/p>\n
