{"id":11998,"date":"2020-12-07T10:07:19","date_gmt":"2020-12-07T12:07:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/?p=11998"},"modified":"2023-01-05T14:32:34","modified_gmt":"2023-01-05T17:32:34","slug":"new-era-for-cnt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/es\/nueva-era-para-cnt\/","title":{"rendered":"Una nueva era para los CNT: Un nuevo enfoque para el crecimiento de los bosques de CNT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Los nanotubos de carbono (CNT) son al\u00f3tropos del carbono con forma de panal cil\u00edndrico y nanodi\u00e1metro. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las numerosas propiedades de los CNT, como la resistencia mec\u00e1nica, la elasticidad, la ligereza y la conductividad el\u00e9ctrica y t\u00e9rmica, los convierten en el material m\u00e1s prometedor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muchas industrias, como la electr\u00f3nica, la medicina, el almacenamiento de energ\u00eda o los sensores, entre otras, est\u00e1n utilizando los CNT en grandes cantidades. El aumento de la demanda ha ejercido una presi\u00f3n constante sobre el aumento de la fabricaci\u00f3n de CNT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta producci\u00f3n a gran escala de CNT se ha convertido en el principal reto que dificulta sus aplicaciones.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afrontar el reto :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por lo general, los cient\u00edficos prefieren cultivar bosques de CNT en lugar de cultivarlos individualmente.  Los bosques de CNT son conjuntos de CNT alineados verticalmente que se autoensamblan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto se suele llevar a cabo mediante el proceso de deposici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica de vapor en presencia de un catalizador fijo sobre un sustrato que posteriormente se separa del bosque de CNT para obtener un material de gran pureza. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque este proceso ofrece abundantes m\u00e9ritos, el \u00fanico problema importante al que se enfrenta es la duraci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hasta ahora, los investigadores han conseguido hacer crecer el bosque de CNTs hasta 2 cm utilizando catalizadores como el hierro (Fe) sobre un soporte de \u00f3xido de aluminio (Al2O3) (la longitud de los CNTs juega un papel vital en lo que respecta a sus propiedades, por lo que es necesario tener en cuenta este aspecto). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto afecta a su valor industrial al limitar la oferta y aumentar el coste del material.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ha habido un descubrimiento revolucionario que ha cambiado totalmente el juego. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recientemente, un equipo de cient\u00edficos de Jap\u00f3n ha registrado la longitud de un bosque de CNT de hasta 14 cm mediante un novedoso enfoque. Su estudio se ha publicado recientemente en Carbon.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hisashi Sugime, profesor adjunto de la Universidad de Waseda, y su equipo descubrieron que los CNT dejaron de crecer debido al cambio estructural gradual del catalizador (Fe-Al2Ox) que se utiliz\u00f3 anteriormente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>B\u00e1sicamente, la densidad de los CNT, que depende del n\u00famero de catalizadores activos, es insuficiente para mantener una estructura autoportante, el crecimiento del bosque termina. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por lo tanto, el catalizador utilizado debe permanecer estructural y qu\u00edmicamente estable.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su enfoque fue cambiar la t\u00e9cnica para suprimir esta inestabilidad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo consiguieron a\u00f1adiendo la capa de gadolinio (Gd) al anterior catalizador recubierto con un sustrato de silicio de tipo n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La capa de gadolinio ayud\u00f3 a evitar que el catalizador se deteriorara y, a su vez, permiti\u00f3 que el bosque de CNT creciera 5 cm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, para conseguir la longitud deseada, mantuvieron el catalizador en una c\u00e1mara llamada de deposici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica de vapor con gas fr\u00edo (CVD). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El catalizador se pretrat\u00f3 manteniendo la temperatura hasta 750\u00b0C y proporcionando peque\u00f1as concentraciones de vapores de Fe y Al a temperatura ambiente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto ayud\u00f3 a mantener la estructura del catalizador hasta 26 horas, lo que a su vez promovi\u00f3 el crecimiento del bosque de CNT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras un cuidadoso an\u00e1lisis, pudieron registrar con \u00e9xito la longitud del bosque de CNT en 14 cm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este notable progreso ha ampliado los aspectos de aplicaci\u00f3n de los CNT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Podr\u00eda cambiar el enfoque de la nanotecnolog\u00eda y la nanociencia para futuras investigaciones.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para leer el art\u00edculo de investigaci\u00f3n completo publicado, consulte el DOI que aparece a continuaci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Referencia :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hisashi Sugime, Toshihiro Sato, Rei Nakagawa, Tatsuhiro Hayashi, Yoku Inoue, Suguru Noda.
