Dos art\u00edculos recientes que resumen una investigaci\u00f3n in vitro y un estudio cl\u00ednico a peque\u00f1a escala fueron suficientes para que Donald Trump hiciera que la FDA aplicara una nueva indicaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica de la hidroxicloroquina: mejorar los s\u00edntomas de los pacientes afectados por el Coronavirus (Covid-19).<\/p>\n

Pero la mejor noticia vino de un estudio cl\u00ednico a peque\u00f1a escala publicado la v\u00edspera. El t\u00edtulo es Hidroxicloroquina y azitromicina como tratamiento de la COVID-19: resultados de un ensayo cl\u00ednico abierto no aleatorizado y puede descargarse en su versi\u00f3n \"en prensa<\/a><\/p>\n

En un estudio con s\u00f3lo 20 pacientes, los autores demostraron que la hidroxicloroquina era eficaz contra la infecci\u00f3n por el coronavirus Covid-19. De hecho, redujo el 75% de los individuos infectados en el periodo de 6 d\u00edas, lo cual es impresionante. Incluso mejor que eso, la combinaci\u00f3n con azitromicina mejor\u00f3 la eficacia del tratamiento hasta 95%.<\/p>\n
