Ein Stammbaum kann sich auf so ziemlich jedes Merkmal st\u00fctzen, das der Wissenschaftler w\u00fcnscht. Heutzutage wirddjedochhvor allem die DNA als Merkmal verwendet.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn wir an DNA denken, denken wir an Tiere, Pflanzen, Bakterien, Pilze und andere Gruppen, die in der Wissenschaft ziemlich vertraut sind. Aber was w\u00e4re, wenn auch andere Dinge DNA haben k\u00f6nnten? Nehmen wir an, Sterne k\u00f6nnten auch anhand ihrer DNA analysiert werden und sogar einen eigenen Stammbaum erhalten.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Diskussion wurde von zwei Wissenschaftlern begonnen: einem Astronomen und einem Biologen. Der Astronom, <a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/mnras\/article\/2966869\/Cosmic\">\u00a0Dr. Paula Jofr\u00e9 von der Universit\u00e4t von Cambridge<\/a>hatte die verbl\u00fcffende Idee, Sterne auf die gleiche Weise zu analysieren, wie Biologen es mit Tierarten tun, und den Stammbaum der Milchstra\u00dfe zu erstellen.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Astronomen haben einen Stammbaum f\u00fcr die Sterne in unserer Galaxie erstellt\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HZq1dLuhjMg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Paula Jofr\u00e9 und ihr Team w\u00e4hlten 22 Sterne aus (einschlie\u00dflich der Sonne) und untersuchten ihre chemischen Bestandteile, ihr Alter und ihre Bewegung. Nachdem sie all diese Daten gesammelt hatten, entdeckten sie drei Hauptzweige, in die die Sterne unterteilt werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Aber was hat die DNA mit all dem zu tun?<\/p>\n<p>Sterne, die in der gleichen Gaswolke geboren wurden, haben einen \u00e4hnlichen Aufbau. Dieser Aufbau wird als \"stellare DNA\" bezeichnet. Da einige der untersuchten Sterne keine stellare DNA aufweisen, die den drei entdeckten Zweigen \u00e4hnelt, ist es m\u00f6glich, dass einige Sterne aus einer anderen Galaxie stammen.
