S\u00e5 l\u00e6rerne har brug for mere end at undervise i teorien om den flade jord. Vi skal undervise i den videnskabelige metode, hvor man opstiller hypoteser, laver eksperimenter for at udforske observationer og besvare sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l. En fysikl\u00e6rer, Rhett Allain, skrev om, hvordan man underviser i den heliocentriske teori, eller med andre ord, hvordan man viser, at jorden kredser om solen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Artiklen blev udgivet p\u00e5 Wired<sup>1<\/sup>, som Rhett Allain<sup>2<\/sup> beskriver sig selv, han<em>&nbsp;\"er lektor i fysik ved Southeastern Louisiana University. Venus' faser<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Det skal du bruge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>En kikkert<\/li><li>En tid<\/li><li>Nysgerrighed<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00e5dan g\u00f8r du:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Find ud af, hvorn\u00e5r planeten Venus er synlig fra din position. Du kan finde det p\u00e5 Google<sup>3<\/sup>. Hvis den ikke er p\u00e5 himlen lige nu, skal du bare vente et par uger, s\u00e5 burde du kunne se den igen (uden at skulle st\u00e5 op kl. 4 om morgenen).<\/li><li>N\u00e5r du bruger kikkerten, b\u00f8r du bem\u00e6rke noget, der ikke er en stjerne og ikke engang cirkul\u00e6rt. Kort sagt er halvdelen af m\u00e5nen oplyst af solen. Da vi ser p\u00e5 m\u00e5nen fra forskellige vinkler, ser vi kun en del af den oplyste halvdel af m\u00e5nen, og det for\u00e5rsager faserne. Pr\u00e6cis det samme g\u00f8r sig g\u00e6ldende for Venus. S\u00e5 hvis Venus har halvm\u00e5neformede faser, betyder det, at vi ser p\u00e5 \"bagsiden\" af Venus. Hvis Venus har en fuld fase, ser vi p\u00e5 \"forsiden\". Den eneste m\u00e5de, dette kan ske p\u00e5, er, hvis Venus kredser om solen.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>02. Jupiters m\u00e5ner&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Det skal du bruge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>En kikkert<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">En tid<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nysgerrighed<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00e5dan g\u00f8r du:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Tag et kig p\u00e5 Jupiter (n\u00e5r den er synlig p\u00e5 himlen). Du vil ikke rigtig kunne se detaljer om planeten Jupiter, men du kan se de fire store m\u00e5ner. Ja, du kan se Jupiters m\u00e5ner med en kikkert.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ligesom Venus' faser beviser det ikke, at den geocentriske model er forkert. Men det er tydeligt, at disse m\u00e5ner kredser om Jupiter og ikke om Jorden. Mars' retrograde bev\u00e6gelse<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Det skal du bruge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">T\u00e5lmodighed<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">En tid<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00e5dan g\u00f8r du:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00e5 udenfor om aftenen, og l\u00e6g m\u00e6rke til Mars' placering i forhold til baggrundsstjernerne. G\u00f8r det igen n\u00e6ste nat, og du vil opdage, at den befinder sig et andet sted (i forhold til baggrundsstjernerne). Faktisk g\u00f8r alle planeterne dette - det er s\u00e5dan, vi ved, at de ikke er stjerner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men hvis du bliver ved med at f\u00f8lge Mars' bev\u00e6gelse, vil du opdage, at den bev\u00e6ger sig mod \u00f8st - undtagen p\u00e5 nogle s\u00e6rlige tidspunkter. Af og til bev\u00e6ger Mars sig mod vest i kort tid, f\u00f8r den igen bev\u00e6ger sig mod \u00f8st. Dette kaldes retrograd bev\u00e6gelse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men hvad betyder det for de geocentriske og heliocentriske modeller af solsystemet?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lad os betragte den geocentriske model med Mars i kredsl\u00f8b om jorden. Hver nat ville den bev\u00e6ge sig l\u00e6ngere mod \u00f8st. Det giver mening. Men hvordan forklarer du de tidspunkter, hvor den bev\u00e6ger sig mod vest? Det er jo vanvittigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se p\u00e5 denne model af Mars og Jorden, der kredser om Solen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/trinket.io\/embed\/glowscript\/ad2210862b?start=result\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>I denne model kredser b\u00e5de Jorden og Mars om en sol - v\u00e6r opm\u00e6rksom p\u00e5, at denne model ikke er i m\u00e5lestok. Det betyder, at planeternes vinkelhastighed aftager med afstanden mellem banerne. Jorden kredser \"hurtigere\" end Mars. Det er i dette omr\u00e5de, hvor Jorden overhaler Mars, at vi f\u00e5r retrograd bev\u00e6gelse. At bruge en heliocentrisk model giver en enkel forklaring p\u00e5 Mars' retrograde bev\u00e6gelse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Disse eksperimenter viser, hvordan jorden kredser om solen i en kugleform. Men som Rhett Allain skrev: \"<em>Ville vi ikke flyve v\u00e6k fra en roterende jord? Ville fugle ikke have sv\u00e6rt ved at flyve for at holde trit med jorden? Faktisk f\u00f8les det bare ikke, som om Jorden bev\u00e6ger sig. Den geocentriske model af solsystemet er helt rimelig, indtil man begynder at indsamle bedre data. Eller for at sige det med hensyn til videnskabens natur: Nogle modeller er ret gode, indtil man indsamler flere data, der siger, at de ikke er gode.
