I mods\u00e6tning til andre vitaminer fungerer D-vitamin som et hormon, og vores celler har en receptor for det. Hos mennesker er de vigtigste forbindelser i denne gruppe D3-vitamin (ogs\u00e5 kendt som cholecalciferol) og D2-vitamin (ergocalciferol).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kroppen producerer det ud fra kolesterol, n\u00e5r huden uds\u00e6ttes for sollys.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Det er vigtigt at holde et sundt niveau af D-vitamin.
