Dit k\u00e6ledyr ser m\u00e5ske ikke s\u00e5dan ud, men hvis du analyserer dna'et og g\u00e5r langt nok tilbage i tiden, vil du opdage, at din hund, som alle andre hunde, nedstammer fra ulve. Gr\u00e5 ulve og hunde stammer fra en udd\u00f8d ulveart for omkring 15.000 til 40.000 \u00e5r siden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En videnskabelig unders\u00f8gelse1<\/sup>  offentliggjort i Nature tyder p\u00e5, at moderne hunde sandsynligvis nedstammer fra \u00e9n population, der levede kontinuerligt i Europa. \"Pr\u00e6cis hvem der t\u00e6mmede disse ulve, hvorn\u00e5r og hvor mange gange, er stadig et mysterium, og forskerne er ikke enige om svaret. Hunde blev sandsynligvis domesticeret ved et uheld, da ulve begyndte at f\u00f8lge efter gamle j\u00e6gere og samlere for at snacke p\u00e5 deres affald. De f\u00f8jelige ulve kan have f\u00e5et ekstra madrester, lyder teorien, s\u00e5 de overlevede bedre og gav deres gener videre.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men p\u00e5 trods af forskernes indsats er der mange kontroverser om hundens evolution. Artiklen \"Hvor n\u00f8jagtig er Alphas teori om hundens domesticering?\"2<\/sup> giver os de seneste unders\u00f8gelser af hundens evolution og domesticering:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"At det f\u00f8rste domesticerede dyr var et stort k\u00f8d\u00e6dende dyr, som ville have v\u00e6ret en konkurrent om f\u00f8den - enhver, der har tilbragt tid med vilde ulve, ville se, hvor usandsynligt det var, at vi p\u00e5 en eller anden m\u00e5de t\u00e6mmede dem p\u00e5 en m\u00e5de, der f\u00f8rte til domesticering,\" siger Brian Hare, direkt\u00f8r for Duke University Canine Cognition Center. Hare tilf\u00f8jer, at de fleste ulve ville have v\u00e6ret frygtsomme og aggressive over for mennesker - fordi det er s\u00e5dan, de fleste ulve opf\u00f8rer sig.
