Hvis du arbejder i den akademiske verden, har du sikkert allerede h\u00f8rt folk tale om publiceringsm\u00e5l. <\/span><\/p>\n

Den videnskabelige verden kan v\u00e6re ret m\u00e6rkelig. For det meste taler vi om videnskab som en \u00e6del livsstil, hvor vi s\u00f8ger viden. Vi \u00f8nsker at forst\u00e5, hvorfor tingene er, som de er, og simpelthen bidrage til en bedre verden. Ikke sandt? Ja, det er rigtigt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hvis det er vores form\u00e5l som forskere, hvorfor handler vi s\u00e5 anderledes? Og med anderledes mener jeg det stik modsatte.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vi h\u00f8rer ret ofte om m\u00e5l for publicering. Hvis du er studerende, f\u00f8ler du dig m\u00e5ske ikke helt s\u00e5 presset af at skulle udgive mange artikler p\u00e5 et \u00e5r. Men hvis du er vejleder eller forsker med ansvar for et laboratorium, er tingene lidt anderledes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Forskere har behov for at n\u00e5 publiceringsm\u00e5l for at vise produktivitet, opretholde finansiering, vise, at de g\u00f8r et godt stykke arbejde osv. Men f\u00f8rer al denne videnskabelige information virkelig til noget? Det ser ikke s\u00e5dan ud.<\/span><\/p>\n

Faktisk bliver de fleste af de udgivne artikler aldrig l\u00e6st af mere end ti personer - forfatterne, korrekturl\u00e6serne og, lad os v\u00e6re lidt optimistiske, venner og familie medregnet.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Har<\/a><\/p>\n

S\u00e5 hvorfor fastholder vi et m\u00e5l, der slet ikke giver mening? Burde vores m\u00e5l ikke v\u00e6re at p\u00e5virke samfundet med vores resultater? Eller at bidrage til videnskabskommunikation?<\/span><\/p>\n

En ny rolle i den akademiske verden kan v\u00e6re p\u00e5 vej: overs\u00e6tteren. En person, der kan g\u00f8re al videnskabelig information tilg\u00e6ngelig og let at forst\u00e5 for samfundet. Kan du forestille dig den rutine, denne nye professionelle vil have?<\/span><\/p>\n

En anden mulighed er, at forskere begynder at bekymre sig om, hvordan de kan g\u00f8re deres forskning mere tilg\u00e6ngelig for l\u00e6gfolk eller folk uden for deres fagomr\u00e5de.<\/span><\/p>\n
