Har du nogensinde pr\u00f8vet at forklare almindelige mennesker, hvad du laver til daglig? Hvor let var det? Ikke meget, hva'? Vi ved, hvordan du har det.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afh\u00e6ngigt af dit hum\u00f8r og hvem der sp\u00f8rger, tager du dig tid til faktisk at forklare alt, hvad du g\u00f8r. Resultatet er en af to ting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A) Du lyder, som om du taler et andet og kedeligt videnskabeligt sprog.<br>\nB) Du lyder som en sk\u00f8r videnskabsmand, der laver m\u00e6rkelige eksperimenter ligesom p\u00e5 film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hvorfor sker det? Hvorfor er folk ikke fortrolige med den videnskabelige dagligdag? Hvorfor synes de, at det enten er kedeligt eller sk\u00f8rt?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Videnskabskommunikation er en af de mange ting, vi ikke har fundet ud af endnu, og det har konsekvenser. Folk bev\u00e6ger sig normalt v\u00e6k fra det, de ikke forst\u00e5r. Og lad os se det i \u00f8jnene, selv forskere har problemer med at forst\u00e5 noget uden for deres eget forskningsfelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men hvorfor skal vi bekymre os om det? Det er meningen, at videnskab skal have en effekt; at \u00e6ndre en m\u00e5de at t\u00e6nke p\u00e5; at forbedre noget. Hvis du ikke kan n\u00e5 ud til nok mennesker og g\u00f8re en forskel med dit arbejde, hvad er s\u00e5 meningen med at g\u00f8re det i det hele taget?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hvis folk ikke f\u00f8ler, at de kan v\u00e6re en del af videnskaben, er det m\u00e5ske videnskabskommunikation, der mangler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forfatteren af <a href=\"http:\/\/phdcomics.com\/comics.php\">Ph.d.-tegneserier<\/a>Jorge Cham, deler vores synspunkt. Han bruger humor til at pr\u00e6sentere de unge forskeres bekymringer, samtidig med at han viser, at de er ligesom alle andre.
