Desuden er der efter decimaltegnet tal p\u00e5 trillionerpladsen, som skal repr\u00e6senteres mere kortfattet. Det g\u00f8r det sv\u00e6rt at skrive nogle f\u00e5 tal ned i deres udvidede format. Derfor bruger vi videnskabelig notation som en metode til at udtrykke disse v\u00e6rdier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For eksempel kan videnskabsfolk, matematikere og statistikere fors\u00f8ge at bryde store ligninger ned i mindre, s\u00e5 de nemt kan beregnes.
