Men hvordan fungerer neuroplasticitet egentlig i vores hjerner?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"653\" height=\"490\" src=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12115\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity.png 653w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 653px) 100vw, 653px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I 1890 var f\u00f8rste gang udtrykket <strong>Neuroplasticitet<\/strong> blev brugt, blev det med vilje brugt til at beskrive menneskelig adf\u00e6rd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I lang tid troede man, at neuroplasticitet kun var til stede i unge hjerner, i barndommen, men at den gik tabt efter en vis alder, hvilket bet\u00f8d, at voksne hjerner ikke l\u00e6ngere var i stand til at \u00e6ndre sig, de var statiske.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00f8rst i det seneste \u00e5rti er forskningen begyndt at vise det modsatte: Hjernen har faktisk evnen til at \u00e6ndre sig, den er tilpasningsdygtig, og neuroplasticitet kan ogs\u00e5 forekomme i voksenalderen, ikke kun i hjerner under udvikling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unders\u00f8gelser har dog vist, at unge hjerner er dem, der har den h\u00f8jeste grad af plasticitet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00e5 lad os vende tilbage til vores sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l fra begyndelsen: Hvordan fungerer neuroplasticitet?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forestil dig hjernen som et kraftnetv\u00e6rk fuld af forbindelser i en meget dynamisk struktur, hvor forskellige elektriske baner t\u00e6ndes, hver gang du har en tanke, f\u00f8ler en f\u00f8lelse eller foretager en handling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hver af dem har sit eget hjernesignal, sin egen vej; i sidste ende har vi en masse veje.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity-representations.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"676\" height=\"506\" src=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity-representations.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12116\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity-representations.png 676w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity-representations-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 676px) 100vw, 676px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Med tiden, n\u00e5r vi bliver voksne, bliver disse stier velkendte og bliver til vaner, specifikke m\u00e5der at t\u00e6nke, f\u00f8le og handle p\u00e5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hver gang du udf\u00f8rer en bestemt opgave eller har en bestemt f\u00f8lelse, har hjernen derfor en bestemt vej til det, og ved gentagelse bliver denne vej ikke bare velk\u00f8rende, men ogs\u00e5 styrket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vores hjerne har evnen til at genkende signaler for hvad som helst, f\u00f8lelser, opgaver, tanker, alt kan g\u00f8res til en vane. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Med tiden begynder den elektriske vej at ske automatisk og bliver for hver gang mere og mere let at g\u00e5 igennem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det er som at k\u00f8re til kontoret hver eneste dag ad den samme rute, og nogle gange virker det underligt, som om man bare er dukket op.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hvis du af en eller anden grund begynder at t\u00e6nke anderledes eller l\u00e6re noget nyt eller v\u00e6lger at \u00e6ndre en bestemt vane, begynder du at sk\u00e6re en ny vej ud; du erstatter den gamle vej med en ny. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hvis du tr\u00e6ner din hjerne til at rejse gennem denne nye vej i stedet for den gamle, begynder hjernen at l\u00e6re og bruge denne nye vej mere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Med tiden bliver den nydannede vej banet, og det begynder at ske naturligt. Denne nye opgave, f\u00f8lelse eller tanke bliver den nye normal, som erstatter og sv\u00e6kker den gamle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det er det, neuroplasticitet er: Du omstiller din hjerne ved at erstatte gamle forbindelser med nye. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det betyder, at hvis du har en d\u00e5rlig vane, som du gerne vil \u00e6ndre, som at ryge, spise fastfood, have negative tanker eller udskyde ting, kan du \u00f8ve dig i at skabe en ny vej i din hjerne og omkoble dig selv; vi har alle evnen til at \u00e6ndre os og l\u00e6re noget nyt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity-definition.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity-definition.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12117\" width=\"580\" height=\"290\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity-definition.png 512w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/neuroplasticity-definition-300x150.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Denne opdagelse \u00e5bnede nye d\u00f8re for videnskaben til at forst\u00e5 og forklare situationer, som indtil da ikke var mulige. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uden hjernens plasticitet kunne vi mennesker faktisk ikke udvikle en fuldt dannet voksenhjerne eller komme os efter en hjerneskade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi kan i litteraturen finde ekstraordin\u00e6re tilf\u00e6lde af hjernesanering fra mennesker, der har v\u00e6ret udsat for alvorlige hjerneskader, eller som er f\u00f8dt med en hjerneabnormitet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her er et par eksempler:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelancet.com\/journals\/lancet\/article\/PIIS0140-6736(07)61127-1\/fulltext\">En offentliggjort artikel<\/a> rapporterede om en 44-\u00e5rig mand, der efter at have oplevet svaghed i sit venstre ben i to uger tog p\u00e5 hospitalet og fik foretaget en MR-scanning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u00e6gerne s\u00e5 ikke kun en hjerne, der var mindre end normalt, men ogs\u00e5 et stort v\u00e6skefyldt kammer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MR-scanningen afsl\u00f8rede en \"massiv udvidelse af den laterale, tredje og fjerde ventrikel, en meget tynd kortikal kappe og en cyste i den posteriore fossa\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fra et medicinsk perspektiv burde hans tilstand ikke tillade ham at leve et normalt liv, men alligevel var han gift, havde to b\u00f8rn og arbejdede som embedsmand. Sindssygt, ikke?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En anden artikel offentliggjort<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cell.com\/cell-reports\/fulltext\/S2211-1247(19)31381-6\"> viste hjernens genopretningsnetv\u00e6rk hos seks patienter, der havde f\u00e5et fjernet den ene hjernehalvdel kirurgisk.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sammenlignet med kontrolgruppen havde disse patienter et st\u00e6rkt og tilsvarende niveau af intrahemisf\u00e6risk konnektivitet i hjerneomr\u00e5der med det samme funktionelle netv\u00e6rk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men mellem dele af forskellige netv\u00e6rk var konnektiviteten ekstremt for\u00f8get hos de opererede patienter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Disse resultater tyder p\u00e5 en funktionel reorganisering af hjernen og et f\u00e6lles s\u00e6t af netv\u00e6rk, med andre ord, at hjernen p\u00e5 grund af operationen skabte nye forbindelser for at genoprette og vedligeholde de kognitive netv\u00e6rk, der gik tabt p\u00e5 grund af det kirurgiske indgreb.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/brain\/article\/138\/6\/e353\/269537\">En tredje artikel rapporterede om et tilf\u00e6lde af cerebellar agenesi.<\/a>En sj\u00e6lden tilstand hos en person, der er f\u00f8dt uden lillehjernen, den del af hjernen, der er ansvarlig for bev\u00e6gelseskontrol og motoriske f\u00e6rdigheder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I artiklen bekr\u00e6ftede MR-billeder p\u00e5 imponerende vis frav\u00e6ret af lillehjernen hos en 24-\u00e5rig kvinde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patienten, som i 20 \u00e5r havde rapporteret, at han ikke kunne g\u00e5 stabilt, tog p\u00e5 hospitalet og f\u00f8lte sig svimmel, havde kvalme og kastede op. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patienten, som var gift og havde en datter, blev ogs\u00e5 diagnosticeret med mild mental sv\u00e6kkelse og medium motoriske udfald. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Udover at mangle en meget vigtig del af hjernen, var kvindens hjerne i stand til at omkoble sig selv for at kompensere for den manglende lillehjerne. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selvom den ikke var lige s\u00e5 effektiv som en almindelig hjerne, kunne den stadig udf\u00f8re de samme funktioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/cerebellum-representation.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"698\" height=\"232\" src=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/cerebellum-representation.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12118\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/cerebellum-representation.png 698w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/cerebellum-representation-300x100.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 698px) 100vw, 698px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Der var engang, hvor uforanderlig var et af hjernens adjektiver, men nu er videnskaben p\u00e5 vej til at forst\u00e5 denne nye hjerneegenskab, hvilket \u00e5bner for diskussioner om, hvor meget dette vigtige organ kan \u00e6ndre sig i lyset af modgang.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>____<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingen videnskabsmand producerer for at holde sin forskning lukket i et bibliotek, vel?
