Men for at opretholde alt dette liv er der et underjordisk net, som vi ikke ser, og som mange mennesker ikke kender til. Ja, jeg taler om mykorrhizasvampe. Selv for forskere er disse aspekter af livet for det meste ukendte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I 2019 har forskere netop for f\u00f8rste gang kortlagt\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1038\/s41586-019-1128-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">global fordeling af tre hovedgrupper<\/a>\u00a0af disse mikrober. Forfatterne <em>\"generere et rumligt eksplicit globalt kort over skovenes symbiotiske status ved hj\u00e6lp af en database med over 1,1 millioner skovopm\u00e5lingsomr\u00e5der, der tilsammen indeholder over 28.000 tr\u00e6arter\".<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De to typer adskiller sig ved, at hyferne hos ektomykorrhizasvampe ikke tr\u00e6nger ind i de enkelte celler i roden, mens hyferne hos endomykorrhizasvampe tr\u00e6nger ind i cellev\u00e6ggen og invaginerer cellemembranen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Endomykorrhiza dominerer i \u00e5rstidsbestemte, varme regnskove. Symbiosen mellem planter og mikroorganismer er ogs\u00e5 meget vigtig for planter i \u00e5rstidsbestemte kolde og t\u00f8rre klimaer.  Det er den fremherskende form for symbiose p\u00e5 h\u00f8je breddegrader og i store h\u00f8jder.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10342\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.mindthegraph.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/ectomycorrhizae.png\" alt=\"ektomykorrhiza\" width=\"760\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/ectomycorrhizae.png 760w, https:\/\/mindthegraph.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/ectomycorrhizae-300x158.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Den gigantiske\u00a0<em>Armillaria solidipes<\/em>\u00a0(honningsvamp) anses for at v\u00e6re den st\u00f8rste organisme p\u00e5 jorden og spreder sig over mere end 2.000 hektar underjordisk jord i det \u00f8stlige Oregon; den ansl\u00e5s at v\u00e6re mindst 2.400 \u00e5r gammel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/usercontent1.hubstatic.com\/14253532_f520.jpg\" alt=\"Resultado de imagem para Armillaria solidipes largest\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u00a0F\u00e5 ikke de forkerte ideer. Svampene er ikke passivt tilbeh\u00f8r til planterne. De er kraftfulde og dynamiske.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De kan hente de n\u00e6ringsstoffer, som planterne har brug for, fra jorden. Det betyder is\u00e6r fosfor, men ogs\u00e5 kv\u00e6lstof. Desuden er der beviser for, at mikrober ogs\u00e5 hj\u00e6lper planter med at f\u00e5 adgang til vand fra jorden. S\u00e5 med denne enorme betydning for livets opretholdelse er vi n\u00f8dt til at vide mere om dem, end vi ved lige nu. Men mikrober er selvf\u00f8lgelig mikroskopiske og lever under jorden, mens der er millioner af farverige og levende planter og dyr at se.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Det er heller ikke et nemt emne at studere: nogle arter vokser ikke i laboratoriet. Desuden g\u00e5r netv\u00e6rket let i stykker, n\u00e5r vi fors\u00f8ger at udvinde det fra jorden. Nogle af dem har ikke \"celler\", deres kerner med DNA deles mellem celler, hvilket skaber netv\u00e6rk, der kan v\u00e6re kilometerlange. Du kan v\u00e6re enig med mig i, at der er mange undskyldninger for vores manglende viden om mykorrhizasvampe.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Men omkring 80% af nutidens landplanter danner partnerskaber med svampe; endnu andre planter danner partnerskaber med bakterier.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Og der er ingen, der har sagt, at det ville v\u00e6re nemt at v\u00e6re forsker.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cell.com\/current-biology\/fulltext\/S0960-9822(19)30490-7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ny artikel udgivet i juni<\/a> bringer nyt lys over sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5let. Matthew Whiteside og hans kolleger g\u00f8r det muligt at visualisere det usynlige. De har\u00a0<em>udviklede en kvantepunkt-n\u00e6ringsstofsporingsteknik, der gjorde det muligt for os at spore handlen med fluorescerende m\u00e6rket fosfor i verdens nok mest udbredte handelspartnerskab: mutualismen mellem arbuskul\u00e6re mykorrhizasvampe og landplanter.\u00a0<\/em><em>Ved at m\u00e6rke fosfor med st\u00e6rkt fluorescerende nanopartikler i forskellige farver kunne vi f\u00f8lge ressourcernes bev\u00e6gelse fra deres oprindelsessted, gennem en svamp og ind i v\u00e6rtsroden.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Svampen mobiliserer og opsamler fosfor fra jorden og bytter denne vare med sine v\u00e6rtsplanter for kulstof i en markedslignende udveksling. Forfatterne \u00f8nskede at se, hvordan svampene reagerer p\u00e5 forskellige niveauer af ressourceulighed. Denne unders\u00f8gelse viser, at svampe ikke bare er passive n\u00e6ringsstofhandlere, men ogs\u00e5 informationsbehandlere.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quanta Magazine udgav en komplet og interessant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quantamagazine.org\/soils-microbial-market-shows-the-ruthless-side-of-forests-20190827\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">artikel<\/a>\u00a0om den.
