Sv\u011btov\u00fd den boje proti AIDS se slav\u00ed ka\u017edoro\u010dn\u011b 1. prosince od roku 1988. Je to mezin\u00e1rodn\u00ed den, kter\u00fd m\u00e1 zv\u00fd\u0161it pov\u011bdom\u00ed o AIDS zp\u016fsoben\u00e9m infekc\u00ed HIV a p\u0159ipomenout si ty, kte\u0159\u00ed na tuto nemoc zem\u0159eli. Sv\u011btov\u00fd den boje proti AIDS je jednou z osmi ofici\u00e1ln\u00edch celosv\u011btov\u00fdch kampan\u00ed v oblasti ve\u0159ejn\u00e9ho zdrav\u00ed, kter\u00e9 vyhla\u0161uje Sv\u011btov\u00e1 zdravotnick\u00e1 organizace (WHO).<\/p>\n

D\u016fle\u017eit\u00e9 je pou\u010dit lidi o sexu\u00e1ln\u00ed v\u00fdchov\u011b a o rozd\u00edlu mezi virem HIV (virus lidsk\u00e9 imunodeficience) a AIDS (syndrom z\u00edskan\u00e9ho selh\u00e1n\u00ed imunity). HIV je retrovirus, kter\u00fd zp\u016fsobuje AIDS. HIV napad\u00e1 imunitn\u00ed syst\u00e9m.<\/p>\n

V pr\u016fb\u011bhu onemocn\u011bn\u00ed se neust\u00e1le zvy\u0161uje virov\u00e1 n\u00e1lo\u017e a postupn\u011b se zhor\u0161uje imunodeficit (v d\u016fsledku klesaj\u00edc\u00edho po\u010dtu CD4), \u010d\u00edm\u017e se HIV\/AIDS projevuje ve f\u00e1z\u00edch. Sv\u011btov\u00e1 zdravotnick\u00e1 organizace (WHO) rozd\u011blila onemocn\u011bn\u00ed HIV do 4 stadi\u00ed:<\/p>\n

F\u00e1ze I<\/strong> (zn\u00e1m\u00e1 tak\u00e9 jako prim\u00e1rn\u00ed infekce HIV): V t\u00e9to f\u00e1zi nem\u00e1 osoba \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edznaky a nemus\u00ed si b\u00fdt v\u011bdoma, \u017ee je naka\u017eena.
\nF\u00e1ze II<\/strong> (zn\u00e1m\u00e9 tak\u00e9 jako klinicky asymptomatick\u00e9 stadium): Toto st\u00e1dium m\u016f\u017ee trvat 8-10 let bez v\u011bt\u0161\u00edch p\u0159\u00edznak\u016f s v\u00fdjimkou zdu\u0159en\u00ed \u017el\u00e1z (lymfatick\u00fdch uzlin), \u00fabytku hmotnosti, v\u0159ed\u016f v \u00fastech a m\u00edrn\u00fdch infekc\u00ed k\u016f\u017ee a neht\u016f.
\nF\u00e1ze III<\/strong> (zn\u00e1m\u00e1 tak\u00e9 jako symptomatick\u00e1 infekce HIV): V t\u00e9to f\u00e1zi je ji\u017e imunitn\u00ed syst\u00e9m v\u00fdrazn\u011b posti\u017een a naka\u017een\u00e1 osoba za\u010d\u00edn\u00e1 vykazovat \u0159adu p\u0159\u00edznak\u016f, jako je siln\u00fd \u00fabytek hmotnosti, chronick\u00fd pr\u016fjem, p\u0159etrv\u00e1vaj\u00edc\u00ed hore\u010dka, tuberkul\u00f3za, z\u00e1va\u017en\u00e9 bakteri\u00e1ln\u00ed infekce (nap\u0159. z\u00e1pal plic a meningitida).
\nStupe\u0148 IV<\/strong> (zn\u00e1m\u00fd tak\u00e9 jako AIDS): Imunitn\u00ed syst\u00e9m je nyn\u00ed v\u00e1\u017en\u011b po\u0161kozen a p\u0159\u00edznaky jsou je\u0161t\u011b z\u00e1va\u017en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed. \u010clov\u011bk je nyn\u00ed t\u011b\u017ece vy\u010derpan\u00fd, m\u00e1 t\u011b\u017ek\u00e9 opakuj\u00edc\u00ed se bakteri\u00e1ln\u00ed infekce. V t\u011ble se tak\u00e9 rozv\u00edj\u00ed rakovina, jako je Kaposiho sarkom, a dal\u0161\u00ed infekce, jako je Pneumocystis carinii pneumonie (PCP), toxoplazm\u00f3za a HIV encefalopatie.<\/p>\n

Podle UNAIDS <\/a>v posledn\u00edch 15 letech do\u0161lo k obrovsk\u00e9mu pokroku v boji proti AIDS. V\u00fdsledky inspirovaly celosv\u011btov\u00fd z\u00e1vazek ukon\u010dit epidemii do roku 2030:<\/p>\n

Jak HIV funguje<\/strong><\/h2>\n

HIV napad\u00e1 imunitn\u00ed syst\u00e9m prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm speci\u00e1ln\u00edch typ\u016f b\u00edl\u00fdch krvinek zn\u00e1m\u00fdch jako bu\u0148ky CD4. Bu\u0148ky CD4 hraj\u00ed d\u016fle\u017eitou roli p\u0159i \u0159\u00edzen\u00ed a kontrole funkc\u00ed cel\u00e9ho imunitn\u00edho syst\u00e9mu. Jakmile se HIV dostane do imunitn\u00edho syst\u00e9mu, mno\u017e\u00ed se uvnit\u0159 bun\u011bk CD4.
